How to Use Inet-CE
You may read any article on InetCE however, in order to obtain
continuing pharmacy education credit, you must register
with our system. Registering with the system ensures that we maintain
and comply with the requirements set forth by ACPE. Your registration
will also enable us to provide you with future updates on specific
topics. There is no cost to register, read articles, or take
examinations.
Registering to use the system:
- Click "Register" from a Contents list.
- Fill in all of the information requested by the form, including a personal password. For your username, you may choose a unique nine-digit I.D. number you can remember or your social security number.
- Write your password down if necessary, because it is the only way for you to get access to your records. Your request will be approved in a few moments.
Requesting articles:
- Click "Read Articles" from a Contents list. A list of articles will appear momentarily.
- Click the name of the article that you would like to see. Your article will be displayed in a few moments.
- Read the article from your screen or print it using your browser.
Taking a test over an article:
- Click "Take a Test" from a Contents list. A screen will appear requesting your last name and password.
- Type your last name and the password that you made up when you registered. If the information is entered correctly, you will see the tests, alphabetically listed by the name of the article.
- Click the name of the test you would like to take. Your test will appear momentarily.
- Answer each test question by clicking the circle to the left of your response.
- When you have answered all of the questions, click the submit button to grade your test. If you pass the test, your statement will appear on the screen for you to print using your browser.
Printing articles and statements:
- Make sure your printer is turned on and properly connected to the computer.
- Set the page orientation to portrait when printing articles or landscape when printing statements. The orientation settings are generally found in "page setup" located under the "file" menu.
- If your "page setup" has a page-reduction option, you may wish to reduce the statement to 80% to ensure that it will fit on the page.
- Click the "print" button on your browser and follow the directions.
Going to a Contents list:
- Click on an Inet-CE icon or any icon appearing in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. You will be immediately taken to a page with a Contents list.
